Auroprobe was conceived by a vision, backed by work experience of several years in the USA, of Dr. Nimrat Bawa. After coming back to India the desire grew to introduce relevant modern technologies for better disease diagnosis and patient management. The market was rampant with technological advances and portfolios of tests being offered by giants in the industry. Sadly, not much endeavor was made to study the Indian strains of microorganisms and diseases and customize these tests likewise. As a corollary, the test prices were also straining the patient beyond his endurance.

The challenge was to offer technological advancements, basis the Indian diseases and the healthcare needs. Hence Auroprobe was born on 20th of October 1999 with its mission - "Research, Development, Demonstration and Dissemination"
